In Honor of John McParland “Spanky”

John McParland, also known to his close friends as Spanky, was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend.  When he was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2006 he was given a 20% chance of surviving the first year.  He battled each day.  These last few years were not easy, but he never gave up.  He is now at peace. 

This year alone, more than 600,000 Americans will die of cancer. That’s more than 1,600 people per day in the United States.  The money raised will help fund and provide the critical programs and services that people count on every day.  

Thank you for your help in honoring my father’s life and helping all those battling cancer.
