In Loving Memory of Brigitte Christine Pfeiffer Hiestand (June 16, 1941 - February 13, 2024)

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brigitte, who left us on February 13, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 16, 1941, and throughout her life, she touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Brigitte was a devoted and loving mother to three children, Leila (Joey) Strickland of Walker, Paul (Tricia) Hiestand of Denham Springs, and Mona (Tony) Bombassi of Chattanooga, TN, a cherished grandmother to 10 grandchildren, and a beloved great-grandmother to 9 great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her universe, and she poured boundless love and warmth into their lives. Throughout her life, Brigitte dedicated herself to a life of service, exemplifying kindness and selflessness. Whether through her professional endeavors or with her family, she made a positive difference in the lives of many. Brigitte approached life with grace, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family. Her home was a haven of love and filled with warmth. In addition to her dedication to family and community, Brigitte had a passion for simple pleasures. She enjoyed gardening and appreciated the beauty of the world around her. As we mourn the loss of Brigitte, let us also celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Her love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. May Brigitte rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she generously shared. Arrangements have been entrusted to McLin Funeral Home. Online Condolences may be left at www.mclinfuneralhome.com
