Please join us Saturday, September 11th for our first "FUNdraising" walk at the Detroit Zoo, as we help to support the mission of the American Cancer Society to attack cancer from every angle. ACS has always been known for its research on cancer and its treatments, but they also promote healthy lifestyles to prevent cancer, lifesaving policy changes, and emotional support for those who have been touched by cancer. And they do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled morning with the animals, and the best part? The zoo will be ours from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Feel free to stay as long as you would like after the event when the zoo opens to the public.
Check in/ticket pickup will start at 6:45 AM and ends at 9:45 AM. All participants must be inside the Detroit Zoo by 10:00 AM.
There will be music, kids activities, survivor tent, and a memorial/luminaria area.
Tickets include: entry for one, event water bottle, sticker, and parking
