Prostate Cancer Awareness

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Black men. And, we're twice as likely to die from prostate cancer compared to EVERY other racial and ethnic group.

Ending this generations old disparity is a serious issue, but it doesn't mean we can't have fun doing it. This month, we're GROWING IT OUT to raise awareness of prostate cancer screenings and help save the lives of more Black men.

Join us in donating to the American Cancer Society to help fund cancer research, new studies to help detect cancer at its earliest most treatable stages, and more lifesaving work.

And show us those beards and mustaches while you're growing it out by posting pictures to social media. Don't forget to tag @TheBlackCaucus and @AmericanCancer in your posts.

We also encourage you to take the pledge to talk with your healthcare provider about prostate cancer screenings.
