Amy was diagnosed with melanoma in June of 2022. She has been fighting strong since then, but on Wednesday, 15 February 2023, it was discovered that melanoma had reached her brain. The cancer was stage 4, and became very aggressive in her brain very quickly. Once the melanoma reached her brain, treatment options were very limited and in most cases unavailable to her. Amy turned 49 on Sunday, 19 February, and was taken from us way to early.
