Addison Park District POW to Cancer 5K Run/Walk for a Cure

We're hosting the second annual POW! to Cancer 5K Run/Walk for a Cure, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, beginning at 8 a.m., at the Addison Park District’s Community Park, 120 E. Oak St., in Addison, IL.  Become a Superhero and join us in the fight against cancer.  $5 from each race registration will be donated to The American Cancer Society.  For more information about our event, including registration, visit our webpage

We are also encouraging our participating teams to fundraise on their own to get more people involved!  At the post race celebration, we will announce and award a prize for the most money raised by a team.  The tracking for this contest must be done through this page.  If you donating on behalf of a team, include the team name in the add a message field.  When you click on Donations, you can see the amounts raised by each team.  Only donations made through this page will be considered.

In 2023, we raised $1,420 through this page and are hoping to exceed $2,000 this year.
