In honor of the Monmouth University Theatre Arts (MUTA) production of Wit, MU Players (the student-run theatre club) is hosting this fundraiser for this very worthy cause. The story of Wit centers around Vivian Bearing, an English professor, who receives experimental chemotherapy for advanced metastatic ovarian cancer. As the saying goes, life imitates art; however, we must also recognize that art imitates life, and this play showcases a very real issue.
By promoting advocacy, research, and patient support, the American Cancer supports their mission: to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. Your support will improve the lives of cancer patients and their loved ones.
